How To Wash Reusable Cleansing Pads
BM&Y Reusable Cleansing Pads are designed to be used again and again.
They’re an eco alternative to single use wipes and cotton rounds.
When used they become soiled with oil, dirt, and makeup… how do you keep them clean?
Hand Washing
If you’d prefer to wash your cleansing pads after each use – this section is for you!
Step 1:
Add a little warm water to your basin
Step 2:
Dampen the soiled cleansing pad
Step 3:
Add a gentle detergent to the soiled pads and massage the soap into the fabric. This action will loosen dirt and debris
(It is ok to use your favourite soap bar here)
Step 4:
Rinse the cleansing pad under clean water, squeeze and leave to air dry
Your Bamboo Drying Rack

Place your freshly cleaned facial pads in the rack and leave to air dry.
No more airing wet makeup remover pads on the windowsill or leaving them to collect dust on radiators
Washing Machine
Step 1:
Place your pads in our mesh laundry bag
Step 2:
Machine wash the pads with your white colored clothes on a warm wash cycle up to 40°C.
Step 3:
Use a gentle detergent
Step 4:
Leave the pads to dry naturally
TIP: Do not use fabric softener or bleach when washing your pads.
Fabric softeners can build up on the cleansing pads weakening the fabric and dramatically decreasing absorbency.
Washing your pads without fabric softener will keep them at their maximum absorbency and the bamboo fabric (rayon from bamboo) will get softer and more absorbent with each wash.
