According to Rebecca Crawforth in association with Navy Pro, beauty salons are responsible for 1.3 million beauty tools landing on landfill heaps each month.
With eye-catching bottles, brightly-coloured packaging and irresistible beauty products lining the shelves in cosmetic stores up and down the country, it can be hard to break the cycle, which is why we need to take matters into our own hands. It takes an average of 1,000 years for plastic to decompose (around 30 generations!), so opting for sustainable products with biodegradable packaging will help reduce our footprints, and promise a better future for generations to come.
